Worship at St Andrew’s

Worship at St Andrew’s

We’re a small village church with a warm welcome. Services are simple, prayerful and rooted in the Church of England.

Whether you come every month or drop in occasionally, you’re very welcome. Our Monthly Sunday Eucharist lasts about an hour with hymns, readings, a short sermon and Holy Communion. Children and visitors are welcome to receive a blessing.

What to expect

Come as you are. There’s no dress code and no prior knowledge required. A sidesperson will greet you and offer a service sheet. Communion is offered to all baptised Christians; others are invited for a blessing.

Baptisms, weddings & funerals

If you are exploring a baptism (christening), planning a wedding, or need to arrange a funeral, we’re here to help.

Seasonal services

We love celebrating the church seasons together: Harvest, Remembrance, Christmas and Easter. Check the diary for special services and concerts.

Music

We sing familiar hymns accompanied by organ or recorded music when needed. If you play or sing and would like to help occasionally, we’d love to hear from you.
